De Bremen-Vegesacker Visserijmaatschappij was een loggervisserij en bestond van 1895 tot 1969. Zij was tijdelijk de grootste haringvisserijmaatschappij van Europa.
Duitsland importeerde in 1895 in totaal 1.181.953 vaten zoutheerlingen ter waarde van ongeveer 25.000.000 Mark. Om onafhankelijker van importen te worden, ontstonden in die tijd in verschillende kustplaatsen in Duitsland haringvissersmaatschappijen. Zo werd op 31 januari 1895 ook de Bremen-Vegesacker Visserijmaatschappij AG opgericht.
