La estación de bombeo de Gelsenkirchen-Horst es una obra hidráulica de la Emschergenossenschaft puesta en funcionamiento en 1958, ubicada en el terreno del parque Nordstern.
La estación de bombeo fue necesaria debido a los hundimientos causados por la minería en la zona sobre el campo de minas de Nordstern. Su área de captación en Horst abarca 316 hectáreas. Anteriormente, bombeaba el agua recolectada hacia el Emscher, que se encuentra a mayor altura y está diqueado; hoy en día, conduce la mayor parte del agua a través del canal Emscher subterráneo hacia la planta de tratamiento de aguas residuales de Bottrop. Este canal es parte del proyecto de reestructuración del sistema Emscher para aliviar al Emscher de las aguas residuales.
