Mellin fue un Vorwerk y una colonia en el término del municipio de Friedrichswalde en el distrito de Barnim. Se encontraba aproximadamente a 1,7 km al este-sureste del actual lugar Parlow, en la orilla norte del ahora desecado lago Mellin. El Vorwerk Mellin se estableció en 1722/23 a partir del establecimiento de cerradores de Michel Kleinfeld en el Gran Cercado Salvaje a través de la Schorfheide. En 1768, se fundó una colonia con 8 familias de Mecklemburgo aquí. En 1880, el lugar fue desmantelado y la zona agrícola se unió a Parlow.
Mellin se ubicaba aproximadamente a 1,7 km al este-sureste del actual lugar Parlow, en la orilla norte del ahora desecado lago Mellin, en el camino que conecta Parlow con Glambeck. La "colonia" se encontraba al oeste del Vorwerk.
