Mellin était une banlieue et une colonie dans les limites de la municipalité de Friedrichswalde dans le district de Barnim. Il était situé à environ 1,7 km à l’est-sud-est de l’actuel village de Parlow, sur la rive nord de Mellinsee, aujourd’hui envasé. Le Vorwerk Mellin a été fondé en 1722/23 à partir de la station de pose de clôtures de Michel Kleinfeld à la Grande Clôture de chasse à travers la Schorfheide. En 1768, une colonie de 8 familles du Mecklembourg s’y est établie. En 1880, le village a été démoli et le Feldmark a été uni à Parlow.
Mellin était situé à environ 1,7 km à l’est-sud-est de l’actuel village de Parlow, sur la rive nord de Mellinsee, aujourd’hui envasé, sur la route de liaison entre Parlow et Glambeck. La « colonie » était située à l’ouest du Vorwerk.
