La comunidad de Gödenstorf es una pequeña localidad al borde de la Heide de Luneburgo. La comunidad está formada por las localidades de Gödenstorf y Lübberstedt. En total, viven aproximadamente 1000 habitantes en la comunidad, de los cuales alrededor de 1/3 reside en Lübberstedt y 2/3 en Gödenstorf.
Ambas localidades se caracterizan por su estructura rural agrícola.
