Hasta el establecimiento de la nueva ruta del Mar Báltico en 2018, el viaje desde Jutlandia del Norte a Als era la ruta ciclista nacional más larga de Dinamarca. La ruta costera comienza en Hulsig, al norte de Frederikshavn, y termina en Sønderborg después de 660 hermosos kilómetros. En su mayor parte, se pedalea por caminos pavimentados, y los tramos en senderos más pequeños son principalmente buenos caminos de grava.
