Francisco Alba Medina es más conocido como Paco Alba.
Es compositor y creador de grupos de carnaval en Cádiz. Nació en Conil de la Frontera en 1918 y murió en Cádiz en 1976 a la edad de 57 años.
A Paco Alba se le atribuye la creación de la compañía del Carnaval de Cádiz.
Cádiz la ha homenajeado con este monumento de piedra del artista Fernando Benítez (Nando), situado en la rotonda de entrada a La Caleta.
Imprescindible para los amantes del carnaval.
