Esta calle, situada en el barrio de las Termas de Nancy, cerca del Museo de la Escuela de Nancy y del Parque Sainte-Marie, se desarrolló principalmente entre 1903 y 1913 y refleja la arquitectura y el urbanismo de la época. Hermosas y coloridas casas con una decoración naturalista del arquitecto y promotor César Pain dan a esta calle un cierto encanto. Eran más bien para la clase media. El arquitecto Emile André también diseñó la casa del número 36, que recuerda a su construcción en el Parque de Saurupt: la villa Les glycines.
