La playa de Uhabia se encuentra al sur del centro del pueblo de Bidart, cerca de la playa del Centro. Situada entre casas típicas vascas y una colina, la playa de Uhabia está atravesada por el río del mismo nombre. Es una amplia playa de arena, la más grande del pueblo, pero también la más accesible.
Tiene la etiqueta Handiplage y está vigilada desde mediados de junio hasta finales de octubre.
No se admiten perros durante el periodo de vigilancia.
Se puede llegar en bicicleta por la Vélodyssée, a pie o en bicicleta por la nueva Voie Verte que bordea el río Uhabia y da servicio a numerosos campings, o en autobús desde las paradas "Plage" o "Uhabia".
La playa también cuenta con 2 grandes aparcamientos (de pago del 15 de junio al 15 de septiembre): uno en la Rue des Tamaris y otro en la Avenue d'Espagne.
