Al igual que Pont Aven o Barbizon, el Auberge des Sœurs Moisy fue uno de los lugares de veraneo y encuentro de pintores famosos que acudían a los Alpes Mancelles a finales del siglo XIX para inspirarse.
Este lugar de encuentro de pintores impresionistas entre 1875 y 1925 revela la historia, el patrimonio y la actualidad de las artes plásticas de este pueblo excepcional, uno de los "cien más bellos de Francia" y Petite Cité de Caractère®.
