La capilla de Falaise fue construida entre 1917 y 1918 por soldados del 236º Regimiento de Reserva alemán en el borde de un cementerio militar. En los años 1920-1930, los cuerpos de estos soldados fueron trasladados al cementerio de Chestres. Se restauró en 2009 con la ayuda de voluntarios franco-alemanes, y se completó en 2014 durante las conmemoraciones del primer Centenario.
