Lugar de la última ofensiva convocada por el mariscal Foch los días 10 y 11 de noviembre de 1918, fue aquí donde el soldado de primera clase DELALUQUE hizo sonar el alto el fuego. La última víctima oficial de la Gran Guerra, Augustin-Joseph TREBUCHON, que cayó 17 minutos antes del alto el fuego, está enterrada en el cementerio comunal de Vrigne-Meuse.
