Am 10. und 11. November 1918 fand hier die letzte von Marschall Foch gewollte Offensive statt. Hier wurde der Waffenstillstand von dem Soldaten 1. Klasse DELALUQUE eingeläutet. Das letzte offizielle Opfer des Ersten Weltkriegs, Augustin-Joseph TREBUCHON, der 17 Minuten vor dem Waffenstillstand fiel, wurde auf dem Gemeindefriedhof von Vrigne-Meuse beerdigt.
