La Stichting Museum Buurtspoorweg (fundada en 1967) mantiene una conexión ferroviaria de museo con locomotoras de vapor y otro equipo ferroviario histórico a lo largo de una ruta de aproximadamente 10 km entre Haaksbergen y Boekelo. El edificio de la estación de 1884 también ha sido restaurado y todo el patio ha sido restaurado para devolverle la atmósfera de principios de siglo. Característicos son las mesas giratorias, el tanque de agua, el taller, el cobertizo de locomotoras y la caja de señales (de 1867).
