La Stichting Museum Buurtspoorweg (fondata nel 1967) mantiene una connessione ferroviaria museale con locomotive a vapore e altre attrezzature storiche per treni su un percorso di circa 10 km tra Haaksbergen e Boekelo. Anche l'edificio della stazione del 1884 è stato restaurato e l'intero piazzale è stato riportato all'atmosfera del cambio di secolo. Caratteristici sono i girevoli, la torre dell'acqua, il laboratorio, il deposito locomotive e il box dei segnali (del 1867).
