La Stichting Museum Buurtspoorweg (fondée en 1967) entretient une connexion ferroviaire muséale avec des locomotives à vapeur et d'autres équipements de train historiques sur un parcours d'environ 10 km entre Haaksbergen et Boekelo. Le bâtiment de la gare de 1884 a également été restauré et l'ensemble de la cour a été rétabli à l'atmosphère du tournant du siècle. Les éléments caractéristiques sont les plaques tournantes, le réservoir d'eau, l'atelier, l'abri des locomotives et le poste de signalisation (de 1867).
