El Bergherbos es una área natural de 1837 ha, propiedad de Natuurmonumenten y de la fundación Huis Bergh, y se encuentra en el municipio de Montferland. El Bergherbos está situado en las laderas de las colinas donde también se encuentra 's-Heerenberg.
La zona montañosa consta en gran parte de un bosque variado con campos, prados y aldeas a su alrededor. Se sitúa en un complejo de morrenas de la penúltima glaciación que se extiende hasta Alemania. Desde aquí se puede disfrutar de una amplia vista del entorno. Las colinas más conocidas son:
