Nij Beets es una aldea en el municipio de Opsterland, en la provincia neerlandesa de Frisia. Se encuentra a aproximadamente 12 kilómetros al suroeste de Drachten. La aldea contaba en 2021 con 1.670 habitantes. A través de la aldea fluye el Polderhoofdkanaal. Nij Beets fue fundada en 1863 por trabajadores de turba.
