La torre de agua en Steenbergen fue construida en 1950 y fue diseñada por el arquitecto Jacques Hurks. La torre tiene una altura de 40,65 metros y tiene un depósito de agua de 600 m3. La torre está hecha de ladrillo y hormigón.
Entre 1998 y 2000, la torre estuvo vacía. En 2000, la guardería "Toerdeloo" se estableció en la torre después de una importante remodelación.
