El transbordador 't Verlaat ha sido durante años un referente y una aparición popular en la Rotte. Cruzar en el transbordador 't Verlaat es una agradable variación de un paseo en bicicleta o a pie. Los capitanes navegan el transbordador desde el muelle en el lado de Bleiswijk cerca del restaurante Meerenbos hacia la otra parte de Zevenhuizen o, si la multitud lo permite, hacia el muelle del café "de Roerdomp".
