Veerpont 't Verlaat is al jaren een begrip en een populaire verschijning op de Rotte. Een oversteek met de pont 't Verlaat, is een leuke afwisseling van een fiets- of wandeltocht. De schippers varen de pont van de steiger aan de Bleiswijkse kant bij het restaurant Meerenbos naar de Zevenhuizer overkant of, als de drukte het toelaat, naar de steiger bij eetcafé "de Roerdomp". Voetgangers mét en zonder fiets zijn van harte welkom.
