Le bac 't Verlaat est depuis des années une institution et une apparition populaire sur la Rotte. Traverser avec le bac 't Verlaat est une agréable alternative à une randonnée à vélo ou à pied. Les bateliers font naviguer le bac depuis le quai du côté de Bleiswijk près du restaurant Meerenbos vers l'autre côté de Zevenhuizer ou, si l'affluence le permet, vers le quai du café-restaurant "de Roerdomp". Les piétons avec et sans vélo sont les bienvenus.
