Esta playa se encuentra en una zona de hermosa naturaleza, rodeada por el bosque de Camarido. Es una playa con un ambiente algo ventoso y fuerte oleaje . En verano, las condiciones son excelentes para practicar surf e incluso windsurf.

Frente a la Praia de Moledo, en un islote rocoso accesible en barco, se alza el Fuerte da Ínsua , construido en el siglo XVI. En el siglo XV, el edificio pasó de ser un convento a ser reconvertido, y en los siglos XVII y XVIII fue remodelado, convirtiéndolo en un bastión para la defensa costera.
