Les dolmens de Wéris sont une tombe collective du jeune âge de la pierre, datée d'environ 3000-2800 ans avant notre ère, construite par des agriculteurs. Le dolmen appartient au type 'allée couverte', traduit par 'galerie couverte' ou 'tombe à couloir'. Les pierres porteuses et les pierres de couverture sont des blocs de pierre à pudding et forment une chambre funéraire dans laquelle les morts ont trouvé leur dernier lieu de repos.
