The Dolmens of Wéris are a collective grave from the Late Stone Age, around 3000-2800 BC, built by farmers. The dolmen belongs to the type 'alleé couverte' translated as 'covered alley' or 'passage grave'. The supporting and covering stones are puddingstone blocks and form a burial chamber where the dead received a final resting place.
