De Dolmen van Wéris is een collectief graf uit de jonge Steentijd zo'n 3000-2800 jaar voor onze jaartelling, gebouwd door landbouwers. De dolmen behoort tot het type 'alleé couverte' vertaald als 'overdekte galeij' of 'ganggraf'. Draag- en dekstenen zijn puddingsteenblokken en vormen een grafkamer waarin de doden een laatste rustplaats kregen.
