Le Goed ter Loo occupe une place importante dans l'histoire de Loppem. Aux 17e et 18e siècles, ter Loo était le siège des seigneuries de Loppem et de Den Houtschen. De 1551 à 1916, le château a été habité par la famille De Schietere de Lophem. Le château n'est pas accessible, mais le parc l'est. En plus d'un agréable lieu de pique-nique et d'un panneau d'information, un court sentier de randonnée est également prévu, qui vous guide à travers le parc et les attractions le long du chemin, comme l'église et le château.
