Gazoduc
Vers 1970, deux pipelines ont été installées à travers le paysage de De Liereman pour transporter du gaz naturel vers la France. Le tracé est bien visible dans le paysage car aucune grande arbre ne peut pousser au-dessus des conduites. Là où la végétation est maintenue ouverte, la lande se conserve. Dans les zones sèches, la bruyère de genêts prospère et dans les zones humides, on trouve principalement de la bruyère ordinaire. Aux transitions, comme ici par exemple, on peut trouver les deux types ensemble. Dans les zones plus riches en nutriments, on trouve des roselières.
