Les pentes de la Ruhr Hohensyburg sont une zone protégée dans le quartier de Syburg à Dortmund, ou dans les collines d'Ardey. Elle se situe à la limite sud de Dortmund, au nord de la Ruhr, près de Hohensyburg. La zone protégée a été classée pour la première fois en 1990, ce qui a été maintenu dans le premier amendement au plan paysager du 2 septembre 2005. La zone protégée couvre sous la forme de trois zones distinctes une superficie de 42,9 hectares. Ces zones sont séparées les unes des autres par la zone de protection des paysages des forêts d'Ardey. Dans la région adjacent de Hagen, la zone protégée de Ruhraue Syburg est directement voisine.
