La maison Renaissance, monument remarquable ici à Kaysersberg, a été bâtie par le forgeron Herzer en 1492 qui y a habité tout au long de sa vie. Sur la bordure de la grande fenêtre on peut y voir une inscription en allemand. Restaurée en 1907, elle y a abrité durant 65 ans le musée de la ville de Kaysersberg.
