Nieuwveen est un village de la commune de Nieuwkoop, dans la province néerlandaise de Hollande-Méridionale. Le village compte 3970 habitants. Jusqu'en 1991, Nieuwveen était une commune autonome et jusqu'au 1er janvier 2007, il faisait partie de la commune de Liemeer. À Nieuwveen se trouve la mairie de la commune de Nieuwkoop.
Du 1er août 1915 au 1er janvier 1936, Nieuwveen était situé sur la ligne de chemin de fer Uithoorn - Alphen aan den Rijn. Sur le tracé de la ligne ferroviaire, une route provinciale a été construite plus tard. Le bâtiment de la gare de 1915 est toujours présent.
