Le plus ancien bâtiment public du Gooi est l'hôtel de ville de Naarden. Après la destruction de la ville en 1572, la construction de l'hôtel de ville a commencé en 1601. L'intérieur du bâtiment a été en grande partie conservé, notamment le hall, la salle des échevins et la salle des maires. À l'étage, se trouve maintenant la salle des citoyens avec des meubles de l'ancien Gemeenlandshuis des Erfgooiers.
