En 1381, Vaeshartelt est mentionné pour la première fois, mais en 870, il y avait déjà un château à cet endroit. La ferme est la partie la plus ancienne du domaine. Plus tard, le château a été construit. En 2011/2012, les Jardins de Vaeshartelt seront réalisés. Cela aura lieu dans le ‘Bloemenheuf’ du domaine Vaeshartelt. Historiquement, ce terrain de 6 hectares fait partie du domaine. Ce seront des Jardins de dégustation : beaux pour se promener, mais aussi riches en expériences de parfum et de goût.
