Entre le Rietveldsepad et le Ravelijnpad se trouve le IJsvogelpad, nommé d'après le projet naturel d'Alphen, IJsvogel. Ce projet est une collaboration entre la Fondation Landschapsfonds Alphen aan den Rijn, Avifauna et la commune. La zone est préparée pour l'éducation et l'information des adultes et des enfants sur ce qu'on entend et voit dans le polder. Ce chemin permet notamment d'accéder à un écran d'observation pour les personnes à mobilité réduite.
