Il castello di Freizell, anche conosciuto come Freizeller Schlössel, Zellerschlössl o Zell unter Marsbach, è una residenza nobiliare sulla sponda sinistra del Danubio, non lontano dal meandro di Schlögen. Si trova su un'altura, sotto il vicino castello di Marsbach.
La storia del castello risale al tardo Medioevo. Nel 1443, Freizell viene menzionato per la prima volta in un documento. Freizell era sotto il signore feudale di Passau. Fino ad allora di proprietà di Ulrich von Starhemberg, passò successivamente in possesso dei signori di Marsbach, i diritti di proprietà cambiarono più volte nei secoli successivi.
