Il poligono di tiro di Marcinelle, un ex campo di tiro, è uno dei luoghi commemorativi più significativi di Charleroi, carico di emozione e storia, poiché è stato testimone della morte di circa 50 persone, uccise dai nazisti durante l'occupazione. Tra di loro il maggiore Servais, il comandante Massart, il tenente Evrard e altri eroi i cui nomi non ci sono noti.
