L'opera ‘Vélo-droom’, di Jan Clement del 2018, riprende i 2 velodromi scomparsi che Liedekerke possedeva tra il 1919 e il 1955. Nel 1919 fu inaugurato il 1° velodromo in cemento di Liedekerke, situato tra l'attuale Velodroomstraat, la Sint-Gabriëlstraat, l'attuale Nieuwstraat e la Bombardonstraat. Ha dato agli appassionati della pista ciclismo l'opportunità di essere incoraggiati dal pubblico e di sfidarsi tra loro. Un 2° velodromo fu costruito (dopo la demolizione della 1a pista nel 1933) a 20 metri dalla 1a nel 1946, e demolito nuovamente nel 1955. I 2 ciclisti sono realizzati in acciaio inossidabile, per il quale Jan ha collaborato con l'azienda metalmeccanica di Liedekerke, Lippens.
