El Escobonal è una località della comarca di Agache appartenente al comune di Güímar nell'isola di Tenerife, raggiungendo un'altitudine massima di 478 msnm e distante 9 chilometri dal centro urbano di Güímar.
El Escobonal è stata tradizionalmente un'entità di certa importanza nel sud di Tenerife, nonostante non fosse un centro municipale. Nel 1950 era per numero di abitanti la terza località in importanza, dopo Güímar e Arafo, di tutta la versante meridionale dell'isola.
