El Escobonal est une localité de la comarca d'Agache appartenant à la municipalité de Güímar sur l'île de Tenerife, atteignant une altitude maximale de 478 m au-dessus du niveau de la mer et située à 9 kilomètres du centre urbain de Güímar.
El Escobonal a été traditionnellement une entité d'une certaine importance dans le sud de Tenerife, bien qu'elle ne soit pas une commune. En 1950, elle était, par le nombre d'habitants, la troisième localité en importance, après Güímar et Arafo, de toute la pente méridionale de l'île.
