El Escobonal is een plaats in de gemeente Agache die hoort bij de gemeente Güímar op het eiland Tenerife, met een maximale hoogte van 478 m boven zeeniveau en op 9 kilometer van de stadskern van Güímar.
El Escobonal was traditioneel een entiteit van bepaalde betekenis in het zuiden van Tenerife, ondanks dat het geen gemeentelijke kern was. In 1950 was het qua aantal inwoners de derde plaats in belang, na Güímar en Arafo, van de hele zuidelijke helling van het eiland.
