Separato nel 1841 dal parco della Patte d'Oie dalla costruzione del futuro boulevard Roederer, questo giardino ha ospitato successivamente il giardino scolastico della Società di Orticoltura e un parco zoologico negli anni Cinquanta
L'architetto paesaggista di Reims Edouard Redont creò la cascata e la vasca nel 1895, mentre Jean Claude Nicolas Forestier creò un roseto nel 1924. Il giardino è stato ridisegnato nel 1982 in due parti "à la Française" e "à l'Anglaise"
Ospita un padiglione neoclassico, sede della Società di Orticoltura di Reims. Nel giardino ci sono molti alberi e arbusti, tra cui un esemplare di "Fau de Verzy".
