Questo parco (4 ettari in totale, 132 alberi) è stato probabilmente progettato per il signor Olivié, un industriale di Bordeaux che aveva aperto una vetreria nel 1815; conserva ancora la residenza che aveva costruito e diversi alberi notevoli che probabilmente risalgono alle origini del giardino (una sequoia, un albero di tulipani del 1889, una sophora piangente, ecc.) Oggi di proprietà del Comune, la tenuta, che comprendeva anche il sito dell'ex vetreria e i suoi dintorni, gli è stata lasciata in eredità nel 1975 dall'ultima proprietaria, Madame Lecoq.
Oggi il Parc Lecoq rimane il luogo preferito dai boiani per passeggiare, fare sport, incontrarsi con gli amici allo skatepark o portare i più piccoli al parco giochi.
Nella bella stagione, il parco ospita anche una serie di eventi all'aperto.
