Datata 1837, questa croce a ostensorio in ferro battuto è una testimonianza dell'episodio rivoluzionario del 1794. Il ripido rilievo della Margeride offrì rifugio a diversi sacerdoti del comune braccati dai "patrioti" di Saint-Chély, braccio armato del Terrore. Tre di loro partirono per le gole del Truyère e il signor Vanel fuggì a La Roche, dove fu catturato e ghigliottinato a Saint-Flour nel 1794.
