La Salamandra è un mulino a legna nella località olandese di Leidschendam. Il mulino è stato costruito nel 1777 come sostituto di un predecessore bruciato del XVII secolo. È rimasto in funzione fino al 1953. Il movimento rotatorio del mulino viene trasmesso alla parte di segatura tramite cinghie di trasmissione, dove le luifalars attaccate all'albero motore muovono i due telai di segatura. La Salamandra ha un albero motore con quattro eccentrici, ma ne vengono utilizzati solo due. A questi sono collegati i due telai di segatura. Dalla fine del XIX secolo è stata impiegata una macchina a vapore per poter segare anche in assenza di vento. Questa macchina a vapore veniva alimentata con legno di scarto.
