La chiesa di Herveld è dedicata a San Willibrordo. La chiesa cattolica romana, costruita negli anni sessanta del secolo scorso, porta ancora il nome di Chiesa di Willibrordo. La chiesa medievale è diventata protestante dopo la Riforma. Fino al 1606 la comunità ha stabilito una combinazione con la chiesa protestante di Slijk-Ewijk. La chiesa è stata restaurata tra il 1949 e il 1953 e nel 1957-1958 è stata restaurata la torre. Nel nuovo millennio la chiesa è stata sottoposta a un restauro molto approfondito e l'esterno e l'interno della chiesa e della torre sono stati completamente restaurati. Nel aprile 2009 la chiesa è stata ufficialmente riaperta.
