Alla fine del XV secolo iniziò la costruzione di una chiesa nello stile del gotico fiammingo e kempen. La torre fu costruita intorno al 1480. Nel 1882 la chiesa fu restaurata. Nel 1944 l'edificio fu fatto saltare in aria dai tedeschi, distruggendo anche il famoso coro. Nel 1951 il restauro fu completato.
In primo piano l'ex municipio di Wouw.
Nella navata della chiesa c'è una cappella dedicata a Maria.
