In december 2014 was deze brug in Tirol de langste wandelbrug ter wereld. Ze is maar liefst 406 meter lang. De Highline179 is van het type 'Tibetan Style'. Dit soort bruggen worden veel in de Himalaya gebruikt. Je wandelt hier 114 meter boven de bodem van het dal in Reutte in het noorden van Oostenrijk. Het verbindt historisch belangrijke verdedigingsbouwwerken van de ruïne Ehrenberg en Fort Claudia. De voetgangersbrug is 1,2 meter breed en ook in de winter open van 08:00 uur tot 22:00 uur. De naam komt van de snelweg 179 die onder de brug doorloopt.
