Het kasteel van Franchimont dat in de 16de eeuw gebouwd werd op een rotsachtige uitloper die de vallei van Hoegne domineert, en de verblijfplaats van de Prins-Bisschop van Luik was, heeft indrukwekkende ruïnes die een bezoek waard zijn. U kunt er een kapel, een latrinetoren, een broodoven en een put van meer dan 60 meter diep zien, maar het meest spectaculaire is het geheel van bunkers met de ondergrondse trappen.
