De straat die grenst aan de Getrouwheidsgang is de Beenhouwersstraat of in het Frans: Rue des Bouchers. De straat behoort samen met de Kleine Beenhouwersstraat en de Predikherenstraat tot een middeleeuws stratencomplex in het historische centrum van de stad. Dit complex kenmerkt zich vanwege de trapgevels met tandvormige en gekrulde ornamenten en oude deuren. De Beenhouwersstraat wordt ook wel de maag van Brussel genoemd. Dit komt vanwege het culinaire karakter door de meer dan 100 restaurants.
