Even buiten de dorpskom van Zandvoorde staat een Duitse commandobunker uit 1916. De bunker heeft 6 kamers en 2 toegangen. De bunker deed dienst als verbinding tussen de frontlijn in Hollebeke en het hoofdkwartier in Komen. In het Memorial Museum Passchendaele 1917 is een maquette te zien, evenals ekele voorwerpen die bij de restauratie gevonden werden.
